The Sagtikos State Parkway (also known as The Sagtikos or The Sag) is a 5.14-mile (8.27 km) long north–south limited-access parkway in Suffolk County on Long Island in New York. The southern terminus of the route is at the Heckscher State Parkway and the Southern State Parkway in West Islip. The northern terminus is at the Northern State Parkway, where the parkway continues northward as the Sunken Meadow State Parkway. The parkway comprises the southern half of New York State Route 908K, an unsigned reference route, with the Sunken Meadow State Parkway forming the northern portion. Commercial vehicles are restricted from using the freeway-standard highway, a restriction in place on most parkways in New York State.
As with many parkways in the Tri-State area, the Sagtikos is substandard, having no shoulders, tightly curved ramps, and a lack of adequate acceleration/deceleration lanes. In common keeping with the majority of roads and towns on Long Island, the Sagtikos is named for a Native American tribe that had a strong presence in the area during the colonial era. It is often mispronounced as "Sagitos", "Saktikos", "Sagitikos", and "Sakitos" by young and inexperienced drivers, or individuals not local to Long Island.
The parkway cost $8 million to construct and opened on September 29, 1952, closing the highway loop on Long Island.[2][3]

Sagtikos State Parkway was originally part of a private road leading to Sagtikos Manor in West Bay Shore, New York.[4]
The interchange with Northern State Parkway and Sunken Meadow State Parkway was built where a widened and curved median used to be. A Parkway service area was in the median at the terminus of Sagtikos State Parkway and the former terminus of Northern State Parkway.
Exit S1 northbound was originally Suffolk CR 67 (the Long Island Motor Parkway) until it was replaced by Interstate 495 (the Long Island Expressway). It had a northbound off-ramp, a northbound on-ramp and a southbound on-ramp located next to the underpass. Only the northbound on-ramp remains active.
The entire route is in Suffolk County.
